The situation
A customer's OneControl panel had gone out, with a serial beginning OCTP. She wanted to know the proper replacement.
The short answer
Lippert offers a single OneControl touch panel today, and it's backward compatible with the prior touch panels in the OneControl system. That's the Lippert 7" OneControl 3.0 Touch Panel Assembly with Bezel & Screws, Firmware Version 5 — part 2022004534, sometimes written as 2022004552.
Why
Lippert consolidated the line. Rather than keeping a distinct replacement panel for each generation of the system, there's now one current 7" OneControl 3.0 panel that stands in for the earlier ones. That's why you don't have to match your old panel's number exactly — the current unit is the answer regardless of which OneControl panel came out.
The same panel has carried several numbers across production runs, which is where most of the confusion comes from:
- 2022004534 / 28637 — newest part number set
- 2022004552 / 28639 — alternate set
- 406347 — superseded SKU
All three reference the same physical unit. It ships with firmware version 5, the latest release, and includes the bezel and mounting screws straight from the manufacturer case — so there's no hunting for trim hardware after the fact.
Worth knowing: these panels are genuinely hard to source. When they're in stock they don't stay in stock.
What to do
- Note what's on the back of your existing panel — the serial and any part number. You don't need it to order, but it's useful if you'd rather have us confirm first.
- Order the 7" OneControl 3.0 panel. Bezel and screws are included.
- Plan for configuration after the swap. Some installations need post-install setup or pairing with the main control module before the panel is fully functional. This is normal, not a sign of a bad panel.
- Have a qualified RV technician handle the install — it involves 12V DC wiring and integration with the OneControl system.
