The situation
A customer needed to replace an ASA iN•Command JRVCS105DC monitor and wanted to know which current display takes its place. ASA no longer builds the JRVCS105DC, and the newer displays won't run on the older JRVCS-generation control module.
The short answer
Two current displays will fit the role: the NCSP35DC at 4.3" or the larger NCSP3DCCT at 7". Either way this is not a screen-only swap — you also need the NCSP35CM body control module and an RVC35 cable.
Why
The JRVCS105DC belongs to ASA's earlier iN•Command generation. The current NCSP-series displays don't communicate with a JRVCS-generation control module, so replacing the screen alone leaves you with a dead panel regardless of which display you pick. The module — the "brain" that actually switches your lights, slides, awnings, and pump — has to move up to the current generation with it.
Choosing between the two displays is only about size and mounting space. Both are interchangeable on the same control module:
- NCSP35DC — 4.3" keypad + touchscreen, 12V DC, 1.5A at 9V DC. Closest to the JRVCS105DC's footprint.
- NCSP3DCCT — 7" full-color touchscreen, black bezel, 12V DC, 9" × 6" × 2", 1.35 lbs. Mounting hardware not included.
On the module side, the NCSP35CM is the one you want. It runs up to 4 HVAC zones, 5 slides, 2 awnings, lights and dimmers, water pump and heater, tank levels, jacks, and battery monitoring, with Bluetooth 4.0 BLE and Travel Lockout built in. There is a larger and more expensive NCSP3CM — that's the module built for JRVCS1 and JRVCS2 series systems. It will work here, but you'd be paying more for capability you don't need.
The RVC35 is the communication harness between the display and the body control module — 35 ft, 18 AWG, ASA designation E67179. It's required either way.
What to do
- Confirm what you have before ordering. Read the part number off the back of the display and off the control module. If the module is a JRVCS-series unit, you're replacing both — that's the situation this article covers.
- Pick your display. The NCSP35DC at 4.3" is the closer match to what you're pulling out. Go NCSP3DCCT only if you want the bigger 7" screen and have the wall space for it. Neither ships with mounting hardware, so plan to reuse yours.
- Order the NCSP35CM control module. Measure your existing module bay first — the NCSP35CM is 14.9" W × 10.4" D × 1.8" H.
- Add the RVC35 cable. Don't plan on reusing the old harness.
- Have a qualified RV technician do the install. This is 12V DC wiring throughout the coach plus RV-C integration and zone configuration, not a plug-and-play swap.
