The forward self-adjusting versions adjust themselves on every forward stop, giving up to 50% shorter stopping distance and preventing premature lining and magnet wear; standard brakes should be adjusted every three months. Each assembly is a complete backing plate with shoes, magnet and springs — order by the part number on your existing backing plate.

Options

122258 — standard (manual adjust) electric brake assembly

122450 — standard (manual adjust) electric brake assembly

296649 — forward self-adjusting electric brake assembly

296650 — forward self-adjusting electric brake assembly

296651 — forward self-adjusting electric brake assembly

296652 — forward self-adjusting electric brake assembly

297956 — standard (manual adjust) electric brake assembly

298274 — standard (manual adjust) electric brake assembly

298275 — standard (manual adjust) electric brake assembly

298276 — standard (manual adjust) electric brake assembly

2024028242 — forward self-adjusting electric brake assembly

2024028246 — standard (manual adjust) electric brake assembly

⚠️ Match the Part Number: Lippert does not publish drum size, capacity or left/right side for these part numbers in the source listing — order by the number stamped on your backing plate, and replace brakes in axle pairs.
