Harnesses and Mounting

Kit includes two controller-to-motor harnesses at 7 ft and 12 ft, a 16 ft controller-to-switch-panel harness, an 8 ft controller-to-battery harness, and a 40A circuit breaker for the battery connection. The controller mounts close to the battery — in a sealed baggage compartment, cabinet, or under the dash. The switch panel and controller are NOT weather resistant and must go in protected areas. Motor harnesses are color-coded: gray/pink for leg 1 and purple/brown for leg 2.

Safety Interlocks

One or more interlocks must be connected so that extend is denied with the ignition key on or the park brake released. Only one is required to disable extension.

Maintenance

The leg is a screw jack — screw and nut must be kept clean and dry. Wash with a wet rag or mild detergent — never a pressure washer. Don't spray cleaner heavily onto the motor gearbox. Lubricate pivot points and screw/nut with dry film silicone or PTFE spray only. Oily/greasy lubricants attract dirt and cause screw and nut problems.
