Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy on most products*, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return on most products*.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@thervsurplus.com.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label or have the package picked up. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We may apply a restocking fee to most items of up to 10% of item sale price to cover return shipping solely at our discretion. This applies to most items EXCEPT flooring rolls and awnings.

ALL FREIGHT ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE with the exception of Air Conditioners if damage is noted and emailed/called within 24 hours of receipt. It is a manufacturer warranty claim otherwise with the manufacturer.

Flooring rolls are subject to a 50% restocking fee due to the high nature of shipping costs.

If something is beyond 30 days since receipt, we may be willing to take the return at a much higher restocking fee rate not more than 50% solely at our discretion.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges
In some cases, we may exchange your item for a different one (Furnace A vs Furnace B for instance). There will be a $25 exchange fee in this case to cover part of return shipping on your original purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 10 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@thervsurplus.com. Please be aware that shipping cost (if charged) will not be refunded except in the case of receiving a defective/damaged unit.
