Replace a burned-out electric element. Camco Screw-In Elements thread into the standard 1" port with a gasket seal; pick the wattage that matches the original.

Match wattage to the original; a 1,500 W element in a heater wired for 1,000 W can overload the circuit. Drain the tank and disconnect power first.
