The all-aluminum slide topper, in vinyl or solution-dyed acrylic. The Carefree SideOut Kover III extends and retracts with the room, shielding the slide roof from rain, leaves, and debris; roller tube, bracket assemblies, wind deflector, and cover are all extruded aluminum. Vinyl units come in white, black, camel shale fade, or sierra brown; acrylic units (linen tweed, hemlock tweed, cadet gray) use solution-dyed fabric whose color is in the thread, so it won't fade, mildew, or peel.

Order by roller length — 61" to 189" listed here (digits 3–5 of the part number are inches); fits slide extensions up to 42". Brackets and end caps are white with white fabric, black with other colors. UP is the standard SOK III configuration; UQ is the lighter-hardware configuration (PartsVia notes spacers are required and sold separately) — confirm which your installation calls for.
