A Different Kind of RV AC — Under-Bench Installation

Unlike rooftop or basement units, the Cool Cat is an under-bench / floor-standing (under-cabinet) unit designed to install inside your living space, typically beneath a bench or cabinet. This makes it ideal for tent campers and rigs where a roof-mounted unit isn't practical. It's lightweight, robustly built, and designed for a relatively simple install (estimated at about 1.5 hours).

This unit replaces the old part number 441003.701.

Cooling and Efficient Heating

The Cool Cat provides 10,150 BTU of cooling plus heat pump heating — and unlike many heat pumps, it heats efficiently down to a 30°F ambient temperature. Everything is controlled by an LCD CT thermostat (required, sold separately), and a pre-installed CT control board with built-in single-zone electronics makes it ready to integrate. An easy-access, washable micro-weave air filter keeps maintenance simple.

Important Installation Requirements

The Cool Cat requires a dedicated interior compartment that is open to the outside and air-sealed to the inside. Please confirm your space can accommodate the following before ordering:

• Interior compartment at least 20" deep
• Inside cabinet front cutout of 20" x 14"
• Opening positioned 1" above the mounting surface
• A 22-3/4" wide x 15" high opening through the sidewall or outside panel

A vented grille and CT thermostat are required for operation (sold separately).
