Restore full protection to your Power Watchdog with the Power Watchdog Gen II 50A WiFi Surge Protection Module. After a major surge event, your Power Watchdog protects your RV by sacrificing its surge module — the unit itself is fine, but the protection component needs to be replaced. This is that replacement part, designed specifically for the 50-amp Generation II WiFi units.

Important Compatibility Note

This replacement surge module is designed for use only with the following 50-amp Gen II WiFi units:

• PWD50W
• PWD50EPOW
• PWD50EPOHW

This module is NOT compatible with Gen I units. Please confirm your Power Watchdog model before purchasing.

Simple Installation — All You Need Is a Phillips Screwdriver

The only tool required is a Phillips screwdriver. Before starting, make sure the unit is fully disconnected from any power source. Then:

1. Unscrew the 6 Phillips screws on the back of the unit (7 screws on EPO versions)
2. Unscrew the top cable gland nut and slide it up the cord
3. Carefully separate the two halves of the body
4. The surge module slides in and out of its slot
5. Unclip the single red/black wire and loosen the screws holding the fork wire connectors to the wire leads
6. Disconnect the old surge module
7. Connect the new surge protection module and wires — "G" is ground (green) and "N" is neutral (white)
8. Replace all screws and re-tighten the cable gland nuts
