⭐ Universal — Fits Flat or Curved Rear Walls

The included swivel castings orient two ways depending on your coach:

• Flat rear wall — swivel castings turned left/right to lock the ladder against side flex
• Curved rear wall — swivel castings turned fore/aft so the ladder follows the coach's curve

Held off the wall by four 5-inch standoffs (two upper, two lower) plus two roof-mount brackets at the top.

⭐ Trim-to-Fit Sizing

• Ships at 92.5 inches assembled height
• Trim the top uprights and the middle-to-bottom joint to match your coach's height
• Can be extended up to 15 additional inches, though the manufacturer does not recommend it — 92.5" trimmed down is the safest configuration
• Maintain 5 inches spacing between ladder uprights and rear wall for the standoffs

⚠️ Weight Capacity: 250 lb Maximum (When Properly Installed)

Per the official Stromberg Carlson install manual, maximum weight capacity is 250 lb when properly installed. "Properly installed" means every mounting screw anchored into the RV's structural backing or sub-frame — a ladder screwed into skin or foam is unsafe at any weight.

⚠️ Locate Structural Backing BEFORE Drilling

• Use a stud finder or contact your RV manufacturer for backing/framing locations before starting
• Every screw must land in structural backing — skin-only mounting fails
• Use an outdoor sealant at every drilled hole to prevent water intrusion
• Inspect ladder integrity before every use
