⭐ Independent Switch Control — Level Side-to-Side

  • Two rocker switches — run jacks together or one at a time

⭐ Hand-Pump Manual Override — No Power Tools Needed

  • If the system loses power, the jacks are worked by hand with a pump handle — no drill or power tool needed
  • To extend: Close both cartridge valves (1/8" Allen hex, ~2 to 2½ turns clockwise until stops), install handle in hand pump, pump — expect 10 to 20 strokes before pressure builds and jacks move
  • To retract: Pull out the red knurled knob on the directional valve and turn it a quarter turn to hold it out, then pump
  • Afterwards, reset: Turn cartridge valves back out counterclockwise and rotate the directional valve knob back until it snaps in — or the jacks can drift down from the stowed position

Battery Requirements

Load-test the battery before installing. EQ Systems requires a minimum of 150 amperes at 10.5 VDC for at least 30 seconds. Keep terminals tight and free of corrosion.

Fluid and Maintenance

Runs on Dexron III ATF, filled to about 1" below top of reservoir with jacks fully retracted (level rises as jacks retract). Reservoir must run with its vented breather cap fitted — not the flush shipping plug — or the jack will operate erratically. Inspect every 12 months: check connections tight and corrosion-free, particularly the ground to the pump stud and positive cable to the motor solenoid.
