What the Ceiling Assembly Does

The ceiling assembly — also called the air distribution box (ADB) — is the interior component that mounts below the RV ceiling at the 14"×14" roof vent opening. It handles three critical functions:

• Air distribution from the rooftop AC into the cabin
• Air filtration via the washable air filter
• User controls for the rooftop unit above

Without a proper ceiling assembly, even the most powerful rooftop AC unit can't deliver controlled, filtered, well-distributed air to the RV interior.
