Standard Pitch Style

The standard-pitch style is the most widely used awning arm geometry — includes standard lengths for both the back and front channels with a standard pivot point that produces a 13-1/4" drop of the awning when extended.

If your existing awning has the shallower reduced-pitch geometry, you'll need a different arm variant. Reduced-pitch arms produce only a 2" extension pitch drop for a more level deployment — useful for taller RVs or installations where standard pitch would put the awning too low for comfortable patio use underneath.
