⚠️ Supplemental Heat — Not a Furnace Replacement

When outside temperatures drop into the low 30s or below, you'll still want your propane furnace running as primary heat, especially to keep holding tanks and plumbing above freezing.

⚠️ Electrical Load — Confirm Capacity

• 1500 watts / ~12.5 amps at 120V in addition to whatever the A/C compressor draws
• On 30-amp service, plan your electrical loads carefully when running heat + other appliances
• On 50-amp service, no practical issue
• Generator use: confirm your generator has the headroom for A/C + heat strip startup surge
