⚠️ Critical Installation Warning — Sealant Compatibility

Do NOT use self-leveling lap sealant with this skylight. Self-leveling sealants (such as Dicor and similar products) contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause catastrophic cracking and failure of the dome. Use only a non-self-leveling sealant compatible with polycarbonate — such as butyl tape, a non-self-leveling lap sealant, or a product specifically rated for polycarbonate plastic. Sealant is required for installation and is not included.

📐 Measure Before You Order

ICON skylights are sized by two measurements, and both should be verified before ordering:

• Rough Opening (hole size): the actual hole cut in your roof — this skylight requires 14" L × 22" W
• Outer Dimension (flange size): the total outside dimension including the mounting flange — this skylight is 18" L × 26" W

Measure your existing rough opening first. If you're replacing an existing skylight, also measure the old unit's outer flange to ensure the new one covers the same area and any existing sealant marks.
