Andersen No-Sway Weight Distribution Hitch | 3324 & 3380 | 10K & 16K

Tow quieter and flatter with the Andersen No-Sway Weight Distribution Hitch. Instead of steel spring bars, greased trunnions, and clanking chains, Andersen uses a pair of urethane spring pucks and tensioned chains to distribute tongue weight — a design that adds motion dampening (anti-bounce) on top of built-in anti-sway. It is silent, needs no grease, and weighs a fraction of a conventional WD hitch.

• 3324 — up to 10,000 lb gross trailer weight, 1,400 lb tongue weight, 4" drop shank, 2" ball
• 3380 — up to 16,000 lb gross trailer weight, 1,600 lb tongue weight, 8" drop shank, 2-5/16" ball

Match the ball size to your coupler and the drop to the difference between your receiver height and coupler height when both are level. Andersen offers other drop/rise and ball combinations; ask if you need one not listed here.

How It Works

Two chains run from the trailer frame brackets to the hitch head, where they compress urethane spring pucks. Tightening the chains transfers weight forward to the tow vehicle's front axle (weight distribution). The urethane absorbs bounce, and the friction-cone ball housing resists sway. Because there are no rigid bars, backing and tight turns are unrestricted.
