If your rooftop unit is a heat pump model (47xxx, 48xxx, or 49xxx heat pump variant), the correct ceiling assembly is the 8630A635 — which includes a heat pump-capable control box. Using a heat-ready assembly with a heat pump rooftop unit will result in incorrect system operation.

The 9420A382 replaces the older 8530A3451 thermostat (no longer in production) as the current required thermostat for this assembly.
