Upgrade to a true residential-style RV refrigerator with the Everchill by Furrion 16.2 Cu Ft RV Refrigerator (SRM-418CB-C) — a 110V, 4 French-door, dark-stainless-steel fridge that delivers residential cooling performance in a 72-inch tall package built for RV service. Available at The RV Surplus.

⚠️ 110V AC Only — Confirm Your Power Setup

This is a residential-style 110V AC refrigerator. It does NOT run on 12V DC or propane.

Shore power or generator — runs normally
Boondocking — requires a battery bank + inverter large enough to carry the compressor
Not 2-way or 3-way — no absorption gas option

If your coach lives on shore power or runs an inverter whenever you're off-grid, this fridge is a great fit. If you boondock without an inverter, this is the wrong fridge.

⭐ 16.2 Cubic Feet — Residential Space in an RV

Fridge interior: 9.6 cu ft
Freezer interior: 6.6 cu ft
Total: 16.2 cu ft

Enough space for a week of real groceries without triage.

⭐ French Door Design

Four French-style doors — two over the fridge compartment, two over the freezer — in a darker stainless steel finish. Residential kitchen look in an RV footprint.

⭐ Key Interior Features

Electronic temperature control with on/off switch
Adjustable freezer temperature
Turbo fan cooling — reaches optimal temperature quickly
Auto-defrost system — no manual defrost cycles
Full-coverage LED interior lighting
Adjustable tempered glass shelves
Clear crisper drawers with humidity controls
Removable door bins for easy cleaning
Quiet operation — compressor runs much quieter than old absorption units
Low current draw for a residential-style fridge

⭐ Fitment — Measure Your Cabinet Opening

Overall Dimensions	30" W × 72" H × 27.5" D
Shipping Dimensions	73" L × 30" W × 28" H
Shipping Weight	187 lbs

Measure your existing cabinet opening before ordering. This fridge is significantly deeper and taller than older absorption units — confirm you have the space and that the opening is squared up to accept it.

⚠️ Freight Item — Read Before You Buy

Ships freight due to size and weight (187 lbs)
Inspect the crate carefully at delivery and note any damage on the bill of lading BEFORE signing — concealed damage claims after signing are often denied
Do not install a visibly damaged unit — contact us before proceeding

⚠️ Before Calling It a Cooling Problem

If a new install isn't cooling to spec:

Give it 24 hours — residential-style compressor fridges take time to reach steady-state after transport
Confirm 110V AC at the fridge outlet — including under load, not just no-load
Check that doors seal flush all the way around — a dollar bill should grip when pinched in the seal
Verify adequate ventilation behind and above the fridge — compressor fridges need to shed heat
Keep the coach reasonably level — compressor fridges tolerate more tilt than absorption but still work best level
