Same 24" stroke and 17,500 lbs capacity as the 7848 build, but with a 1½" rod diameter (vs 2") and matching cylinder/foot pad. Also the identification chart's replacement for the obsolete SL 24 (Part 70073). Version without leg switch. Available at The RV Surplus.

Making Sure This Is Your Jack

Body length is the fixed outer body measured with the jack retracted. Plate position is measured from the closed end of the body — positive toward the foot, negative past the closed end. Measure both before ordering — rod diameter is the critical difference between 70217 and 7848.
