Restore reliable furnace airflow with the Suburban 521232 OEM 12V RV Furnace Blower Motor. Genuine Suburban OEM dual-shaft 12V DC blower motor for SF-series furnaces of 35,000 BTU or higher (produced after 2001). Dual-shaft design drives both the blower wheel and combustion air wheel from a single motor. Superseded by the Suburban 521255 — but this 521232 remains a direct match if your existing motor is a 521232.
⭐ Discontinued — Current OEM Replacement: 521255
The 521232 motor is discontinued. If you can't source the exact 521232 match, the current OEM replacement path is: Suburban Furnace Motor Kit (521255) — engineered specifically for SF-35VHQ and SF-35VHFQ furnaces.
What This Motor Does
The furnace blower motor is the heart of your furnace's airflow system. It's attached to both the blower wheel and the combustion air wheel — when the furnace control board sends power to the motor, the dual shafts rotate both wheels simultaneously to:
- Circulate heated air throughout the RV via the blower wheel
- Draw combustion air into the burner via the combustion air wheel
Motor failure results in complete furnace shutdown — without airflow, the safety systems prevent burner ignition.
⚠️ Motor Size Must Match Furnace BTU Rating
Critical fitment note: the motor's size and RPM must match the furnace's BTU/hr rating. Installing the wrong-size motor may result in insufficient airflow, overheating, or safety shutdowns.
This 521232 motor is compatible with:
- Suburban SF-series furnaces of 35,000 BTU or higher
- Produced after 2001
Verify your furnace matches BOTH criteria before ordering.
Smaller BTU Furnace?
For Suburban SF/SFV furnaces at 20K, 25K, or 30K BTU, this 521232 is NOT the correct motor. Use the Suburban 521230 Blower Motor instead — engineered for SF-20/25/30 and SFV-20/25/30 series.
⭐ Discontinued — Replaced by Suburban 521255
Important note: the 521232 motor is discontinued and has been replaced by the Suburban 521255 motor. This listing offers remaining 521232 inventory — a direct match if your existing motor is specifically a 521232. If 521232 stock runs out, the 521255 is the current OEM replacement path.

Questions & Answers
1 question answered about this part
-
What Replaces a Suburban SF-35Q With More Heat?
The SF-42VHQ is the same cabinet with more heat — 40,000 BTU instead of 35,000. Dimensions, cutout, ducting, and wiring all carry over. It draws one more amp and burns a little more propane.
