They are identical to their Suburban counterparts (SF-20VHQ / SF-20Q), but constructed with higher-quality metal. Never sold at retail, so information is limited beyond what we provide here and in the linked documentation.

⚠️ Important Fitment Notes When Replacing Dometic/Atwood Units

When replacing Dometic or Atwood furnaces with this Furrion unit, verify the following:

• Width difference: Dometic/Atwood furnaces are 1" LESS wide than Suburban/Furrion units — the opening must accommodate the wider Furrion body
• Gas line side: Dometic/Atwood have the gas line on the RIGHT; Suburban/Furrion gas line is on the LEFT (near the outer wall when viewed from the exterior)
• You must be able to accommodate BOTH of these differences during installation

Horizontal OR Vertical Installation

Standout feature: the SF-Q series can be installed horizontally OR vertically, giving flexibility to fit spaces that might otherwise be unused. Meaningful for RV floor plans where installation location is constrained.
