Important buyer note: this microwave does NOT include a trim kit, and we do not currently offer one for it. This unit is intended as an exact-unit swap.

Do not assume your existing trim kit will fit. A trim kit is cut to the exterior width of the specific model it was built for, and "0.9 cu ft" describes interior capacity rather than outside dimensions. Two 0.9 cu ft microwaves can differ by an inch or more in width — for example, the MCG992 series is about an inch narrower than a Magic Chef MCD991ARB, so an MCD991ARB trim kit will not close the opening properly or give you anything correctly positioned to fasten to.

This microwave is suitable for:

• Replacing the same model, where the installed trim kit was made for this unit
• Installations that don't require a trim kit — freestanding countertop use, custom cabinetry, or an opening finished another way
